Using our remotely controlled drone we can provide clients with UHD, 4K, video footage of structures that would otherwise be difficult to inspect. We film in 4K offering extremely high definition video that can be paused to give excellent views of the building's structure. This is especially useful where access is difficult or where, for example, a roof is unsound.
This is a short animation of a measured building survey we completed for a client. Internals were laser scanned, and the externals were scanned using a UAV/ drone. Data sets were combined, and used to extract floor plans and elevation drawings. A topographical survey was produced of the site along with a condition survey from aerial photos. Marketing photography and this video animation were produced as extra deliverables to aid in the sale and renovation of the property. I work as a land surveyor. This job covers many different projects in many different fields, but they all require the same thing. Precise measurements. Before I take measurements, I have to setup a Base Station. The base station is setup over a point that had a GPS unit setup over it previously, and over the span of 6 hours had used Geo-sync orbit satellite data to pinpoint the GPS Unit's exact position on earth down to a thousandth of 1 survey foot.
